The Arabiker Specific Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in our online Arabic classes, you agree to comply with these Specific Terms & Conditions established by The Arabiker, in addition to our general Terms & Conditions. Both sets of terms apply.

Specific Terms and Conditions for Online One-to-One Arabic Classes with The Arabiker:

1. Access to Learning Management System (LMS):

In case of subscribing to our lessons: Arabic from Scratch or Comprehensive Arabic and in case of using Al Kitaab Series (Al-Kitaab Fii Ta'allum Al-Arabiyya) 3rd edition, The Arabiker is committed to providing learners with access to our courses on a Learning Management System (LMS) that are relevant to the lesson type, which includes media resources, practice drills, and other useful contents relevant to the course.

In the case of subscribing to other lessons or requesting the use of a different series, The Arabiker is not obligated to provide access to our courses on the Learning Management System (LMS).

2. Use of Learning Management System (LMS) and Feedback Policy:

When utilizing our Learning Management System (LMS) as part of your course, The Arabiker is committed to providing expert feedback and guidance within 72 hours after the submission of any assignment, quiz or exercise. This feedback is designed to support your progress and enhance your learning experience.

Our language experts may not address every error they detect in your submission. In line with a systematic approach to language learning, experts will focus on areas most relevant to your current level and progression. This means some errors may be skipped to ensure a manageable and structured learning experience. Our experts reserve the right to prioritize feedback based on pedagogical best practices and the learner’s development stage.

Additionally, The Arabiker reserves the right to change the assigned language expert at any time.

3. Textbook Provision:

Subscribing to any of our lessons or package does not include the provision of the textbook suggested. Learners are responsible for acquiring any required textbooks or materials for the course independently.

4. Class Duration:

Each 1-hour class is scheduled for 50 minutes, and each 1.5-hour class is scheduled for 75 minutes to allow time for breaks and instructor transitions.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Failure to do so will result in the class being considered complete.

6. Instructor Absence:

In the event of instructor absence, The Arabiker will provide a substitute instructor. If a substitute is unavailable, the instructor and learner will agree upon a future time to make up the missed class.

7. Class Nature:

Classes are conducted exclusively online and not in-person.

8. Video Conferencing Tool:

The Arabiker reserves the right to specify the video conferencing tool to be used for classes.

9. Expiry for Lessons Packages:
While we promote self-paced and personalized learning, we also understand the importance of maintaining consistent progress. Therefore, expiry dates for lesson packages are as follows

Expiry dates for lesson packages are as follows:

1 individual class: 2 weeks

Package of 5 classes: 8 weeks

Package of 10 classes: 16 weeks

Package of 20 classes: 32 weeks

Package of 50 classes: 80 weeks

The expiry date starts once a successful purchase is made.

After the expiry date, all remaining classes in the package will be considered complete.


This policy is designed to encourage regular engagement and commitment to your learning journey. While you have the flexibility to learn at your own pace, maintaining consistency is essential for effective language acquisition.


10. Refund Policy:

General Policy:

Refunds will only be issued for unused classes that have not yet expired according to the expiration terms specified in our "Expiry for Lesson Packages" section.

Class Packages:

If you choose to purchase a package of classes (e.g., 5, 10, 20, or 50 classes) and decide to cancel your enrollment before any classes are taken, you may request a refund within 10 days of the purchase. A 10% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

After the 10-day period or once any classes have been attended, the package is non-refundable.

Individual Classes:

Individual class purchases are non-refundable once the class has been scheduled. However, if you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, you may reschedule the class to a different future time.

Exceptions:

Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies) on a case-by-case basis, requiring documentation.

Processing time:

Refunds will be processed within 90 days.

The receiver responsibility:

The receiver is responsible for any fees incurred due to payment method or currency conversions.
