Welcome to the "Alif Baa: Master the Arabic Alphabet" course!

This course is designed to help you build a strong foundation in reading, writing and pronouncing the Arabic alphabet; the essential first step to unlocking the Arabic language.

Prerequisite: None. This course is perfect for absolute beginners.

Arabic Register: Since this course focuses on the foundational skill of learning the Arabic alphabet, the choice of register (Modern Standard Arabic or dialect) isn't a major concern at this stage. However, when helpful, we include examples from both MSA and the Jordanian-Palestinian dialect to give you a well-rounded start.

Each lesson is carefully designed to ensure you not only recognize the letters but also pronounce them correctly, write them accurately and begin to read simple Arabic words confidently.

- Pronounce Arabic sounds correctly, including those that don’t exist in English.
- Write the Arabic letters by hand with proper direction and connection.

- Start building your first Arabic vocabulary using real words that combine the letters you've learned.
